This is the story behind two of the world's most successful video games: "Call of Duty" and "World of Warcraft." 

They were created by two different companies: Activision, which split off from Atari in the late 1970s, acquired the studio that developed CoD. Blizzard, on the other hand, made the highly successful MMORPG WoW.
